We continuously improve our quality level by acquiring and mastering new control methods, anticipating market expectations and guaranteeing products that meet the highest aerospace standards.
A continuous improvement approach
Our goal is to rely on continuous improvement mechanisms (PDCA – Plan-Do-Check-Act), regularly analysing performance and implementing corrective actions to address identified issues.
Quality certifications
We are certified EN9100 and ISO9001 for the following entities:
the Freyssinet Aero Group
Freyssinet Aero Equipment
Freyssinet Aero Services
and Freyssinet Aero Coating
The laboratory
Material analysis
and understanding
Since 2022, we have operated our own integrated laboratory. Designed for all our subsidiaries, it strengthens our control of industrial cycles, improves responsiveness and ensures optimal traceability across a wide range of materials (titanium, aluminium, nickel, steels, composites, polymers, etc.).
Metallographic testing
Detect internal or surface defects without altering the part, ensuring its compliance with safety and reliability requirementsé.
Sample collection and preparation
(micro-cutting, mounting, semi-automatic polishing)
Chemical etching
Optical microscopy and image-analysis software
Grain size measurement
Contaminated layer depth
(alpha-case)
Porosity and inclusions rate
Marking/surface treatment depth
Chemical composition analysis
Determine the elemental composition of alloys used to ensure their compliance with customer standards and specifications.
X fluorescence spectrometry
Spark spectrometry
Gas analysis (O, N, H)
Light non-destructive testing
Detect internal or surface defects without altering the part, ensuring its compliance with safety and reliability requirements.
Electrical conductivity
Coating thickness measurement
Bath analysis
Ensure the proper operation and chemical stability of the baths used in surface treatments, as well as the quality of slurries.
Titration
Spectrophotometry
Conductivity and pH
Microbiological quality control
Characterisation of treated test specimens
Measure the effects of heat treatments or surface treatments on materials through the analysis of standardized test specimens
Salt spray resistance
Ford bath immersion
Coating weight
Mechanical testing
Measure the characteristics of test specimens
Tensile testing machine
Hardness tester
Microhardness tester
Qualifications
Development
and new qualifications
We have the internal resources needed to develop and qualify new special processes.
This continuous ability to adapt enables us to remain responsive to industry requirements and to offer high-value solutions.
NDT
Non-destructive
testing
Non-destructive testing is fully integrated into our quality chain. We carry out all operations internally, ensuring traceability, compliance and control over lead times.
Dye penetrant testing
Dye penetrant testing is a non-destructive testing method used to identify cracks, fissures and other open defects on non-porous materials (metals, ceramics, etc.).
We perform these inspections by immersion, according to the following sensitivity standards:
Sensitivity 2 - Pre-emulsified
Sensitivity 3 - Post-emulsified
Team of technicians certified COFREND COSAC
2 immersion lines (1000 × 1000 × 500 mm)
NADCAP certifications
Penetrant Testing / Merit Program status
Literally the National Aerospace and Defense Contractors Accreditation Program, Nadcap ensures specific quality standards in the aerospace sectors. We are Nadcap-certified with Merit Program status for non-destructive penetrant testing (Penetrant Testing / Liquid Penetrant).
Radiography
Industrial radiography relies on the use of X-rays or gamma rays to detect internal irregularities invisible to the naked eye.
