Commitment 1 :
Climate and environment
Taking action for
a decarbonised aerospace industry
Industrial performance can no longer be considered without environmental responsibility. This is why Freyssinet Aero places water resource management and decarbonisation at the heart of its strategy, in line with the Paris Agreement and the expectations of its industrial partners, including Safran.
An ambitious climate pathway
We have set concrete objectives to reduce greenhouse gas emissions
in direct emissions (Scope 1)
and energy consumption (Scope 2)
in indirect value chain emissions
(Scope 3)
Annual assessment carried out since 2019 with our partner Greenly
ISO 14001 certification obtained in 2018, ensuring a structured and continuously improving environmental management system
Assessment by Safran Aircraft Engines through CDP scoring: rating improved from E (2023) to B (2025)
Final target: validation of our trajectory by the SBTi (Science Based Targets initiative)
Optimising the impact of our infrastructure
Our industrial buildings have been redesigned to combine energy efficiency and workplace well-being by installing cool roof systems and solar films
Improved working conditions through better temperature regulation
Significant reduction in energy consumption and CO₂ emissions
Innovating to reduce, recycle and reuse
Our pretreatment process relies on innovative distillation technology enabling circular resource management
Reduction of 200 tonnes CO₂ equivalent
Fivefold reduction in waste generated
80% of water recovered and reinjected
150 000 L of effluents treated per year
Decarbonisation Innovation Award
Safran, SIAE 2023
A key technological component of our decarbonisation strategy, we have chosen to completely eliminate plastic from our packaging and adopt more sustainable solutions.
Industrialised and standardised packaging process
Optimised, effective protection without compromising quality
3D printing using recycled (and recyclable) cardboard
Elimination of musculoskeletal issues
Elimination of logistics bottlenecks
Reduction of our carbon footprint
Engaging with the green ecosystem
In 2024, we joined the Coq Vert Community, launched by Bpifrance, ADEME and the Ministry for Ecological Transition.

This index, rated out of 100, is made up of four indicators for companies with fewer than 250 employees.
For the year 2024, the total number of points obtained is not calculable:
Indicator relating to the gender pay gap: not calculable
Indicator relating to the gap in individual pay rises: 35/35
Indicator relating to the percentage of female employees receiving a pay rise in the year following maternity leave: not calculable
Indicator relating to the number of employees of the under-represented gender among the 10 highest salaries: 10/10
Developing tomorrow’s talent
We work alongside young people by supporting their professional integration through strong partnerships with the education sector, particularly with Lycée Louis Rascol in Albi.
Tailored pathways to discover precision engineering professions
